For the Title: Select the title placeholder. On the Draw toolbar (at the
bottom of the screen) is the word "Draw". It is actually a menu. Click it
and from the resulting menu, select "Change Autoshape". Drag over to the
right and down to "Stars". Drag further over and select the star. Now, right
click the title placeholder and select "Format Placeholder". On the lines
and fills tab, change the line to be a color (not "none") and do the same
with the fill. Say ok. Your title placeholder is now a starburst.
To do text, select the autoshapes button on the draw toolbar, slide as
before to the starburst you want. Click on the slide and a starburst will
appear. With that starburst selected, type - voila - text in your shape.
Does that help?
