Starting page number 1 on slide 3

Hi,

I'm trying to start page #1 on slide 3 (the first two are a master page,
then TOC). I can only get slide 3 to read "2" -- How do I renumber the first
two = -1 in the page setup, it won't let me.

This can not be done using PowerPoint's slide numbering system. Only
positive number from 0 to something silly can be used and always run
sequentially.

You can ...
1) manually number the pages
2) make the first slide (numbered 0) link to a one slide presentation (TOC),
then return to slide #1.
3) create a macro that creates a new shape on each slide with the altered
slide numbers (-2)
