starting the presentation

If I am viewing slide 45 and wanna see what it looks like in the actual
presentation, how do I start the presentation right at slide forty-five,
instead of starting from the beginning and flipping through the slides to get
to it?

Click the button (looks like a screen) in the lower left-hand corner of the
window. Or hit Shift+F5 (PPT 2003).
