Starting up outlook

I have Outlook 2003 on my computer and when I start up it up sometimes a
window comes up titled "Windows installer" It says it is installing a office
component. I would like to know what it is it is installing as I didn't ask
it to install anything. It doesn't happen every time I use outlook only
occasionally

Do you have previous versions of Office still installed? Also note; did you
do a full instalation or a default installation? When you choose a default
installation not components are installed but will be installed on first
use.
