As I mentoned before my web server reset my hit counters to 0 and I want to
adjust them back to the actual # but when I reset them in frontpage they will
not post to the web while all other changes will post they will not. The
only response I got thow very much appreciated didnt really help me. I must
get this fixed or my boss is going to kill me. Please help.

You must make the changes on the remote web and inside the _private folder,
go to the hitcounter page and open it in notepad, changing to the number you
want, then save. And, make sure your host has write permissions enabled for
the _private folder.
