I've read several Qs and As here as well as FAQs. I'm using Office 2004 on a
Mac (bad on me). I must say, I've never ever been able to discern the
slightest bit of logic in any piece of Office software (or other Microsoft
software, for that matter), so I go into it highly biased. But I'm stuck
with it, so here we go.
I've created a Powerpoint presentation that I want to have run as a slide
show. I have an MPEG-4 file (from my iTunes library) that I want to put into
the thing to play continuously while the slide show is running. If I use
"Insert" it says it can't insert a sound from the file selected. If I use
the Custom Animations menu, everything is greyed out so that I can't do
anything. I'm obviously not thnking "Microsoft" here, since nothing works.
Can anyone give me a simple, step-by-step way to do this? I'm getting
really frustrated. Why can't the world use Macs and be happy? There would
be a lot less bald people (from pulling their hair out using Microsoft
software).
Sorry... hadda vent.
Thanks much.
