Thanks for your prior suggestions, but I mentioned I have been trying all the
file formats , not just jpeg, and none work. Yes the Detailed Display was
already on.
I have a year old computer with a high quality GeoForce 5200 video driver. I
don't think that is the problem. I also looked at Publisher in my other
computer and it can't import the files with anything close to acceptable
quality either. I also have no problem inserting the same file in another
program on my computer, such as Front Page. It seems to me the problem lies
somewhere in Publisher. I must use Publisher for this project.
Any further ideas are appreciated.
