stop autosaving attachments

Hi,

Somehow Outlook 2003 with an exchange server account has decided that
whenever I double click an attachment, Outlook should save two copies
of the attachment in My Documents. It used to create temporary files
that would be deleted after closing whatever program opened the
attachment. But now it creates two permanent files; one is even
flagged read only.

Any ideas on how to stop this behavior?

Thanks!
