Strange "crop" markings in corners of page?

Hi,
Recently, my dad had a question about being able to enter Korean text in Word. I did some research for him and looked at the Language feature in Word.

I didn't think I actually did anything, but afterwards, all my Word docs (new and old) have what look to be "crop" marks in the 4 corners of the page...in the upper left, it looks like a backwards L...then in the upper right, an "L"...then the reflection of these 2 marks in the lower corners.

These "markings" are not on the header/footer page...nor can I select them...

How can I get rid of them?
Where did they come from?

Start>All Programs>Microsoft Office Tools>Microsoft Office (XP) Language
Settings. Disable Korean and any other East Asian Languages enabled.
