Is there a strikethrough effect for text similiar to
Word, vs just drawing a line and laying it over the text.

Thank you.

There is no Strikethrough effect, you have to draw a line and layer it.

NOte to Ed Bennett & Others: thank you for posting how to strike
through text in Publisher 2002. After fumbling with other methods, I
came across your post that said the method was to use the "layer"
feature. I did have to do some more fumbling before I was able to
achieve the desired strikethrough text. Method was as follows:
1. Enclose text to be struck through in a separate box

2. :Create separate text box for strike through dashes

3. Move dash box over original text

This worked. If anyone knows of a better method, please post. Also,
if any executives with Microsoft, please give us a download upgrade to
enable us to insert strikethrough text as automatically as is possible
in Msft. Word!

best to all! Aaron
