Strikethrough in MS Publisher

I edit the newsletter for a group I belong to and had the need to publish
some changes in the group's Operating Guidelines. I did this in Word using
strikethrough to remove parts no longer needed and edited the changes into
the text in a contrasting colour. I copied and pasted this into a text box
in Publisher which removed the strikethrough. The only way I've found to
get this document into Publisher is to convert it to a pdf file and paste
it. This gives a fuzzy image. Is there a way to get a clearer
reproduction?

I'm using the latest versions of Word and Publisher.

You can't do a strikethrough in Publisher like you can in Word. Literally
draw a line thru the Word and group it along with the text box. Yes, it can
be a PITA if you revise the text or the width of the text box, however I'd
gladly give up that feature for the other functions that blow Word out of
the water.

Thanks, JoAnn,

That works well, although I agree it's a PITA but it looks a lot better than
the pdf and there's not a problem with revisions as long as it's the last
thing done to the page. Fortunately, it's not something I have to do every
day. I took this thing on to improve my Word skills but got very frustrated
until I found Publisher.

Your help is appreciated.

Both programs have their uses. If I have to do more than put an inline
graphic in a document, I'm firing up Publisher. ;-)
