Microsoft did not build your computer. Ask the manufacturer for the disk
for the installed version - they are required by contract to supply it.

After furious head scratching, Masconomo asked:
| Milly,
|
| Add/Remove says that I have the "Professional" edition. Must be a
| marketing ploy by MS. In order to install updates I now have to buy
| the Pro edition.

||
||| I have automatic updates turned on on my XP SP2 system.
|||
||| I get a notification that there are updates for Office but when I
||| try to do the update the update requires that I insert my Office
||| Pro CD to acces PRO11.MSI.
|||
||| I don't have Office Pro, I have the Student and Teacher Edition
||| 2003.
|||
||| Is there a solution? Thanks for the help.
