I recieved a Pocket PC by Tobisha for Xmas and it says I
have to install Outlook 2002 in order for it to work with
my Pocket PC. Where do I find Outlook 2002. I know that
is a stupied question but I'm so confused. Thanks, Marsha

You can find Outlook at most any store that sells
software, Wlamart, Staples, Office Depot or an of a
hundred or more web sites.

Marsha,
No question is stupid unless not asked.

Did you get a new Toshiba ? If so you will have a CD with it, could be
marked almost anything but most likely something "Toshiba applications"
On the disk will usually be a folder marked either Outlook or Outlook 2002,
if you open that, you will see a program called Setup, just click is and it
will install Outlook 2002 on your PC. Outlook 2002 is how you get all your
emails, address, calendars, notes etc...from the PC to the Pocket PC. You
enter the info in Outlook and then a program called ActiveSync (Current
version at the moment is 3.7.1) is the actual program that "synchs"
(transfers) your files and info back and forth between the desktop and the
PDA.
Also on PDA questions, a good newsgroup is on:
microsoft.public.pocketpc

Hope this helps ! Actually any version of Outlook will work with the PDA and
you should not have to buy one, that is just part of the PDA package and its
nice as its a full copy of Outlook.

You would have probably received a copy of Outlook 2002 on
the Cd that came with it, mine did. Check that...
