Styles for text (not paragraphs)...

J

Jane

Good Morning,

Is it possible to set a style that applies to text, but
not to the whole paragraph?

For example, in the report I am doing, I want the first
(sometimes first two) sentences of a paragraph to be in a
different font than the rest of the paragraph body. These
sentences act as a sort of heading.

Any advice? Thank-you.

Jane

Yes, check out Font Schemes (if you are using Pub 2002/2003). Go to View >
Task Pane > Font Schemes. There you have a major and minor font, which you
can set the major font for your headings.

No, you have to have your heading elements as separate paragraphs if you
want to use a different style for them.

Character styles are not available in Publisher, only paragraph styles.
