Styles- Problem Selecting all text with the same formatting

I followed the Help instructions to Select all text with the same formatting
but the Final step "click select all" button doesn't work. The option is
dimmed. I know that the style has been used so I'm not sure why I can't use
this choice.

Any ideas out there?

You must enable "Keep track of formatting" (Tools | Options | Edit) in order
to have this option.
