Styles

Ugh! We've been having the same problem. We created
about 20 styles, and when some of our clients use the
template, it will create a modification of that style with
a slight change in the character or font formatting. The
worse part is the "char char char" problem. We've seen
where it will make a new style of the same name, but
put "char" or "char char" at the end of it. This causes
problems with the Table of Contents which is looking for a
specific style (and not the "char char" variety).

I did find that you can "hide" those secondary styles by
going to FORMAT - STYLES & FORMATTING and choose CUSTOM,
and hide the "Clear Formatting" and "Font formatting" from
the list that it gives you.

I hope that helps. :)
