Suggestiong to enhance the Office Discussion Group

H

Hisham

Hi,

I just have the following suggestions for enhancing the discussion forums:

1- I suggest to add sorting feature in the discussion forum, where the user
can sort the listed topics by date or by time interval i.e. last week, last
month, this year, ... etc.
2- In the "show:" drop list, I suggest to add a filter for topics submitted
by the user; for instance I might need to see only the topics submitted by
myself.

I hope you will find my suggestions useful.

Regards,
Hisham Aqtash.

Hisham,
The newsgroup itself has nothing to do with how participants read and
respond to articles - that is totally up to the user and what type of
newsgroup interface they use. Jan suggested Outlook Express. I use MT
Newsreader and it has both of the features you desire.

Get a full featured newsreader and you'll be all set.

Not everyone uses a newsreader. I use the web forum and agree the listed
suggestions would be lovely.
