Hi all,

When I use View > Resource Usage, the MS Project will summary all Work from
all projects which resource is a member in. I insert Actual Work column in
Resource Usage View, but MS Project cannot summary Actual Work from other
projects if I don't open those projects.

How to summary resource even if projects don't open?

Thanks

In the future, please let us know what version of Project Server you are
using. 2002, 2003, or 2007? To answer your question, you can't get a
correct Actual Work total unless you open every project. This means that a
better approach would be for your Project Server administrator to create a
Data Analysis view (Portfolio Analyzer view if you are using 2002 or 2003)
that totals the Work and Actual Work by resource and then by project. Hope
this helps.

It was no inconvenience. And you still didn't tell us what version of
Project Server you are using! :)
