Summary task in MS-Project 2003

Hi,

I am working in Project 2003 and i have a schedule of 100 or more than
100s activity, actually my question is, I have create a one custom
field with formula(([Start Variance]/[Baseline Duration])*100) for
showing the Start Variance in %, it is working fine it's showing the
every task start variance in % but it is does not show the summary
level task variance, it is showing in summary level task variance "0"
but in there having a some variance in Start Variance field. I don’t
know why it is happening.

Please help me.
Any idea will be helpful for me.

In the customize field dialog box (the same one where you choose to use a
formula) make sure that the option for summary tasks is set to "use formula"
