Summary Task

If I have a summary task Bug Fixes which takes 2 days as below:
Bug Fixes 9 days Wed 12/8/04 Mon 12/20/04
Task 1 1 day Wed 12/8/04 Wed 12/8/04
Task 2 1 day Mon 12/20/04 Mon 12/20/04
It is possible to show the summary task Bug Fixes as only 2 days because
only 2 days are taken for the task. Is there any other solution?

Based on your data, the duration of nine days would appear to be correct.

Perhaps you should consider looking at Work rather than duration. You can do
this by inserting the column Work into your table (view).

Is there any option to show the duration as only 2 days if such recurrent
tasks are present which are not on regular frequency basis.
