Is there a way to Display a name for a summary task on the Gantt view. I, so
far can only figure out how to display a resouce name for the subtasks

DigitalFixx,
I assume you mean display a name on or around the Gantt bar itself. Go
to Format/Bar Styles, select the summary bar in the upper part of the
Bar Styles window and then hit the "Text" tab in the lower half of the
window. When you select the box that has the default "Resource Names",
the box will convert to a selection box and any field shown in the
selection list can be displayed near the Gantt bar.

Thanks, you solved my problem. I knew the answer was right under my nose.

Resources should never, ever, be assigned to summary tasks!!! Doing so will
completely foul up the work and budget ffigures.
