summary task

I have several tasks under each summary task.
The team can do the tasks under each summary task any order BUT give
me a estimate @ the summ task level. I do NOT want to enter duration or
track the the lowest level BUT need the lower level tasks captured for
clarity purposes.

Given the situation , can I just enter the duration and
dependencies for the summ task ? The duration for summ tasks are greyed
out in project.

Sorry, summary tasks summarise sub tasks, they don't push values down to
them so you can't enter summary durations etc.
