SUMMARY TASKS IN CALENDAR

I'd like summary tasks to display in the Calendar view and not have
individual tasks appear. Any way to do that?

Hello Alan,

Choose Format > Bar Styles. The Summary bar type is set to "None".
Select a bar or line. Then set the Critical and Noncritical bars to
"None". This will display the summary bars but not the individual bars.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

The bars worked, but the names did not appear. How do I get the
summary task names to appear?

Hello Alan,

To add the task names to the calendar view:
Format > Bar Styles to display the Bar Styles dialog box.
Select "Summary" in the Task Type list.
Once you have changed the Bar type from "None" to either Bar or Line,
the drop-down list next to "Field(s)" under Text should be available.
Select "Name" in the Field(s) list. Click OK to apply the change and
close the Bar Styles dialog box.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
