summing cell into one

how do i sum up two different cell from different worksheet into a new
worksheet in excel?

Place the cursor in a cell in the new worksheet, Enter an "=", click on
worksheet 1 and place the cursor in the desired cell, in the formula window
(top of worksheet) enter a + after the cell reference shown, click on
worksheet 2 and place the cursor in the desired cell and press enter.

You should have something like =Sheet2!C9+Sheet1!E14 as a formula in the new
worksheet.
