Switching between presentations and Excel

I have one PowerPoint presentation in portrait and another in landscape. I
want to be able to switch between these in the course of one show. What is
the best way to do this?

I also want to be able to switch from a PowerPoint presentation to an Excel
file and back again. How do I best do this?

I am using 2003

To switch between an open excel workbook and slide show you can either use
alt + tab or often easier ctrl + T to show the toolbar and click on excel
icon.

you can also use action buttons and link these buttons with excel files or
pp files
