Switching from Office 2003 to Office XP Pro

Hi, I am having an issue with my Outlook. I recently
purchased a laptop that gave me a trial edition of Office
2003 and everything worked fine, including my Outlook. I
switched to Office XP Pro because my boyfriend had a copy
of it and it had FrontPage on it, which I need.
Everything BUT Outlook works just fine. I can open
Outlook, set up everything, but when I click to send and
receive it tells me the operation failed. I have tried
several times to uninstall and reinstall to fix the
problem. Does anyone know how to help? I miss my
Outlook! :( THanks!
