sychronizing Outlook 2003

My boss uses Outlook 2003 on his desktop computer at work. He now needs to
have Outlook on a laptop and wants to be able to synchronize between the 2
instances of the program. Before he leaves for his trip he wants to update
the emails and contacts from the desktop to the laptop, when he returns he
wants to update from his laptop to his desktop. Is there an easy way to set
this up? I haven't installed Outlook on the laptop yet in case there are
some configuration changes I should make when installing.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks. I was hoping Outlook had a built-in synchronization feature. Dang.
I think we'll try addressend.com.
1 question... in Outlook 2003 should there be a .wab or .pab? All I find is
the .pst

Thanks agin

Easiest would be with an Exchange environment. Is that what you're using?

Neither... a WAB is Outlook Express's address book file and a PAB is an old
style Outlook/Exchange Personal Address Book file. Normally now you'll just
have a PST which contains Contacts which the Outlook Address Book service
displays as an address book
