Does anyone know how to align the "registered" symbol so that it is even with
the top of the adjacent text rather than the bottom? Superscript helps a
bit, but is not perfect.

What font are you using? I'm not seeing your issue here. Have you tried reducing
the font size?

I have a graphic, or in some cases text (as in company logo, company name).
Right next to the name I wish to insert the symbol for "registered" from the
speical characters symbol choices -- there is no font size specified. The
symbol aligns with the bottom of the text it is adjacent to rather than the
top of the letters. (e.g. xxxxx_ rather than xxxx*). Thanks for any
suggestions you can give.
