Symbols?

I've noticed that there are no TICK (as in correction)
Symbols in MS Word and Excel. Does anyone know how to
obtain one? I would ask Microsoft, but unfortunately they
like charging customers for assistance!

You can insert one via the Insert>Symbol dialog if you select the Wingdings
font or, hold down the Alt key and type 0252 on the numeric keypad which
will insert ü, then select that and change the format of the font to
Wingdings.
