Sync?

I have set the out look to sync all items and now want to
turn this off. I have tried going into tolls but the
option is hazed and I can not unselect sync for mail.

I want to have it not sync anything at all. I want to
create another local contacts only on the laptop for
travel. This is a winxp laptop with outlook 2000 and when
connected to the network in house in get e-mail and
contacts from the exchange server.

Need help fast.

If you want "local" stuff, you'll need a PST file - not advisable,
especially if you set delivery to it. Why is it you don't want to sync to an
OST file as you're doing now? You can work offline, come back to the office,
and have it sync again...this is really the best of all possible worlds.

They want to have it when they are offline all they get is
contacts and nothing else and then when online and
connected to exchange they would get everything. Is there
a way to do this?
