Synchronization Error-Unkown Error

My customer is suddenly unable to pull new messages into his mailbox from the
Exchange server. I get error messages in the error log indicating "Error
Synchronizing Folder" and a reference code 8004011B-3EE-8004011B-560. I've
run the Scanost.exe utility against the Outlook.ost mailbox file and that
hasn't helped. Any ideas or suggestions?

I am also having this same issue with Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2000 - Sync
Error 8004011B-3EE-8004011B-560. There doesn't seem to be any information on
the Web or within Microsoft. Please see full sync error below:

08:17:16 Unknown Error.
08:17:16 Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store

Taking the Cache mode of the Exchange settings in Outlook is a short term
fix - you get emails through but still the errors.

This was only a short term solution as we migrated our client over to
Exchange 2003 - everything is fine now. Sorry this isn't a cheap solution but
all is working fine now.

will help reflect the changes for the first time after a while the problem
will reappear again.
