Synchronized PPT

I'm having trouble with a presentation that is
synchronized to a video file. When on the media server
the slides rotate perfectly. When running from CD-ROM
they don't rotate at all....ahhh what's up anyone know?
Thanks in advance!!

There could be a host or reasons why this is happening.

1) The media files have 'merged' timings in them that
tell the slides when to flip. They're obviously calling
the right slides for the online presentation but may be
incorrectly formatted for the CD-Rom which is playing
locally. (ex. http://name.server.com/image.jpg vs.
c:/documents and settings/desktop....)

2) I've noticed that Windows media player 9 doesn't flip
slides on a local computer. I'm assuming this is a
security issue. Try the CD-Rom on a machine with Windows
Media 7. If it works that's the issue. And if someone
from Microsoft can explain why that is I'd appreciate!
