Syncing Access Database in Files Tool

Is it at all possible to use the UpdateFile Web Services API to sync an
Access Database in the Files Tool without corrupting the database?

Yes. You could delete the file from the files tool and then add it back in.

sure

if someone else happened to have the file open at that time
you will get a copy of filename, but no corruption of anything

the files tool is pretty smart - if you have just modified a few records in
the mdb then only those recs get moved across

and we have done this live using folder share but don't reccommend it to
others
but it works to provide real time updates and does not need GWS
