Hi,

I've set up a mailing list group by selecting addresses from within my address book and I get an error when sending a message to that group. The error is: 5.5.2 Syntax error. f42sm7526391rvb.6

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Two questions:
1. How many addresses are in the group? Many ISPs have limits on the number
of addresses allowed on a single message.

2. Are you sure that you can send messages individually to each of the
addresses in the group? Or is there a possibility that one of the addresses
is incorrect?

Syntax error indicates that one of the email addresses may be malformed -
maybe a space in the wrong place, or a comma instead of a period.

One user reports: I was able to fix this issue by sorting the group. Before
I would sort it, it would always show a blank entry at the end of the group.
Sorting it removed the blank entry and I was able to send the message.

I inadvertently did this yesterday while I was deleting a couple of addresses and the list no longer had an error.

Thanks.
