I want to re number index of my controls. It seems MS Access overwrite
what I changed.

Are there any way to make sure that MS Access can accept the tab index
I enter?

Of course they renumbr the tab index. For example. when you
change control 8's tab index to 5, then controls 5,6 and 7
must be renumbered to make room for the new 5.

You can see this happen if you do it manually using the Tab
Order menu item to arrange the tabbing.

If you are using a VBA procedure, then set each control's
TabIndex property in order from TabIndex 0 on up. Then
setting a control's TabIndex will only affect the ones that
have not been set yet.
