I am trying to find a way for the tab stop to skip columns .
I need to keep these columns visible but when I press the arrow right
key the next highlighted cell is three or four columns to the right not
in the next cell . I hope I have explained myself
clearly . Thank you for your help .

Gord first thank you for your quick response I will try
this at work first thing Monday. My next question is
what is the easiest way to copy this worksheet to
another file . I know the method of highlighting the
area but will Ctrl * also work as I do not want to copy
the column descriptions on Row A .

To start....A is not a row, it is a column.

The easiest way to copy a worksheet to another workbook is to open both files
then right-click on the sheet to copy.

Select "move or copy" and checkmark "create a copy" then pick under "To Book"
where it should be copied to.

When copied, delete the data you don't want.

Save the "copied to" file.

If you mean you don't want to copy row 1, just select all other rows with
SHIFT + END + DownArrow and copy then paste to the other workbook.
