Tab Stops Reset

I have a problem with the default tab stop setting not being saved with
the document in Publisher 2002. I have read other posts that describe
the problem and solution on the Microsoft web site, however this has
not worked with certain documents. Has anyone come across any other
solutions or workarounds, other than changing the tab stop back when
you open the document?
