I am designing a database for my funeral home. I have been told and
have read that it should be normalized. Right now, I have one large
flat file. If I normalize, I would have Six tables that would have to
be related via the "one to one" relationship.
Notes:
1.Some of the tables (i.e. cremation, and military) would be not be
used on every single case.
2. The data must be static, and not change as time goes by (cost of
merchandise for every year)
Is six tables the way to go, or should I stay with the one.
Thanks,Jake
