Table of Contents Problem

Vincent

Was wondering whether anyone can help me out with a
rather odd table of contents problem. I have a document
containing 4 types of headings, named Heading 1, Heading
2 etc etc. Each of them if formatted in a particular
way. Each of these unique formats is reflected in the
Table of Contents generated for the document, except in
one case. My Heading 3 text is Bolded Arial 11pt, but
the TOC doesn't show the text bold, which as far as I'm
concerned makes no sense whatsoever. My Heading 1 is
capitalized bolded text and that show just fine...anyone
who can shed some light?

Normally the TOC entries are formatted according to the TOC styles, not the
underlying heading style. It may be coincidence that your TOCs 1, 2 and 4
happen to correspond to your heading styles.

Go to Format > Style and check the definitions of TOC 1, 2, etc. If you
really want them to be exactly the same as the headings, you can base the
TOC definition on the corresponding heading style.
