Tables in Word #^@*? (just cussing)

I have a word document that contains tables. Every time I
try to set up the page for the tables to be landscape, it
converts the whole document to landscape. I've tried
using "selected text" before I change it but it doesn't
help. So now I have put the tables in one document and
the portrait data in another. I need to merge these two
files without screwing up the page layout. Help! I need to
get this finished today if possible!

What you need to do is to insert a "Section break" in between portrait and
landscape pages. The following link provides excellent instructions (even
though it is for page numbering, it still shows how to create separate

Try inserting just the table as a text box in the drawing tool bar and from there you can rotate or flip. Good luck.
