target 2 frames

hello

consider 3 frames, left, center and right.
is there a way to make a selection on left with the
destination target on center and another page with the
destination target on right ?
or
when the selection opens on the target frame center, it
will trigger another page to open on target frame right ?

Yes, there's a way to do this, but it puts you on one of the many slippery
slopes that using frames can create.

Imagine I click a trigger and change two frames. Now, I decide to go back
and use the browser's back button. Only the last frame to change will
revert, leaving your frameset out of synchrony.

You can get around this by having the trigger load a FRAMESET containing the
two frames you want, but this now requires that you redesign your original
frameset to accommodate this new scheme, AND it gets you into the unending
loop of adding workaround after workaround to manage all the disappointments
of frames.

Would it be possible to not use frames?
