Template in Word

When I close a Word document, the path to the attached
Template changes to an incorrect path. Note: if you got
to "Tools - Templates and Add-Ins" it shows the path to
the attched template.
Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else or if
anyone has an idea why it would do that.

Hi

Are you saying that you open a file, observe that it's attached to Template
A, save the file, and you then observe that it's attached to Template B?

If that's the case, then the only cause I can think of is an add-in to Word.
Some document management systems or content management systems do this.
