when a user clicks File, New in Word, they get a panel on the right hand side of the screen with a chopice of document types. Does anyone know how to add more into that list? i.e. Company Templates that we want them to use.

I regularly bypass this task pane since I usually want to get to the FileNew
dialog (templates on my computer). See
http://home.earthlink.net/~wordfaqs/CustomizingWord2002.htm. I put a New
File button on my toolbar that gives me the FileNew dialog without going
through the task pane.

However, the WOPR Add-In that comes with Using Microsoft Office - Special
Edition (Que) has a utility that lets you change things like those you are
asking about.
