text animation

I have 2 seperate lines of text on a slide. I want them both to enter with one of the animation scemes. When I select both of them, either one at a time or both together, and apply the animation, only one of them accepts it and works.

If they are two separate lines of text in the same text box, select the
actual text box itself and set the animation. Make sure the setting is to
animate "All at once". If they are two separate text boxes, select them
both and group them (right-click, select "Grouping", "Group"), then set the
animation.

You must group them first. Select both lines of text >Click on Draw> Grou
