text box lines

F

frazzeled

I'm making my own template in word and want to have two lines of text and a
clip art. WHEN ever i draw a text box, there is a line left around it. I can
hide it with the "hide gridlines", but then the picture disapears.

is there a simple giude somewhere?

thanks

First of all, what are you using the text box for? Note that you don't need
a text box for text in Word (you just type it in the document). You also
don't need a text box to put the graphic in. The only case in which you need
a text box is when you want text on top of a graphic (actually, you can
still manage that by sending the graphic Behind Text).

In any case, to remove the text box border, double-click on it to open the
Format Text Box dialog. On the Colors and Lines tab, choose No Line.
