Text Box Problem

I copy pages that include text boxes into a monthly
newsletter and even though the previous month's pages are
deleted before the current page is paste in, the pictures
and the text boxes are duplicated. I have found thousands
of text boxes hidden on the page by doing an object
search. Any idea how to eliminate this duplication?
