Text box

I can't seem to 'create a text box' and then elongate it to fit the size I
want. It just freezes in a small little box and won't budge.

M/S Pub 2007 version.

Every month I work within the previous month's newsletter and then try to
move the 'boxes' to add more info, or to try to move it to another part of
the page.
Won't budge.

Or if I want to open up a page so I can print in it... only a 2" square
section opens, and when I try to pull at the ends..they won't budge

Or if I want to start an entirely new page - e.g. agenda page, same thing.

What's going on, Any suggestions?

Have you activated Publisher? Is it a trial version? Do you have a default
printer selected in the printer folder?

Yes, have purchased and activated mspub07going on a year now. Just started
having this problem the past few months ago.

Try it with a new blank file...maybe the old file is corrupt.

Try a *Office Diagnostics* in the Help menu.

If you are using the same file over and over you may have some corruption going
on. Run the Design checker (tools). Sometimes you will have a text box or border
in front and not realize it. It could be interfering with your selecting the
text box.
