Go to Tools > Options. On your View tab > print options, make sure "drawings" is checked, and on your print tab > Include with document, the "drawing objects" box is checked. Text boxes are drawing objects and are treated the same as any other graphic or drawing object.
Right-click, choose Format Text Box, go to the Colors and Lines tab, and
choose No Line.

I placed text in text boxes for positioning only. I don't want the text
box outlines printed in my document? They insist on printing. Looks very
taky.
