text boxes

to insert pictures into a word doc, i usually put it into
a text box so that i can move it around. sometimes the
text box doesn't want to move where i put it however; it
seems to be stuck and will keep popping back to where it
was.

You don't have to put it in a text box to make it move around. Just select
any wrapping option other than In Line With Text.
