Text does not print in a publisher document

Linda

I have a bookmark that I've created in Publisher 2003. The graphic prints
fine, but the text that I have does not. I am going to take my file(s) to
Staples for printing so that the group can see and choose one. But no text
on the one will definitely cause problems.

Any suggestions?

Does the text appear correctly in a PDF created using PrimoPDF
(www.primopdf.com)?

Is the text in the background (Master page)? Do you have "Ignore Master page"
checked?

As a matter of fact, yes it does. I printed it to a PDF file so that I can get a copy printed at my local Staples store. Would rather be able to print a draft copy here, but I do what I must to deliver a draft copy!

Does the PDF print properly from Adobe Reader?

Then don't you now have a draft copy? :)

Yes, in a way, but it doesn't explain why it won't print from Publisher which is where I should be able to print it from to begin with. Does that make sense? I should be able to print it from Publisher without any problems or hangups and not have to create a PDF through Adobe to make sure it prints correctly.

The problem probably lies with your printer driver. What printer are you
using?

The steps I've given are a workaround, I haven't tried to claim that they're
anything else. But if they work...
